Golf Genius Tips and Navigation

LCMGA event sign up and notifications are done primarily through email.  The following emails will be sent:

 

SUBJECT LINE TIMELINE
LCMGA Signup – “Date, Coord/Hosts” Sent 6 days prior (sent on Wed and Fri for Tue/Thr events).
   
no email Event Closes automatically at 7am the day before the event, two (2) days before the vent for Tournaments/Majors.
LCMGA Tee Sheet for: “Date, Coord/Hosts” Sent the day before the event (usually by 6pm). Email will contain your GGID for smartphone scoring, starting time, starting hole and who you will be playing with. A link will be provided to display the entire tee sheet.
LCMGA Results: “Date, Coord/Hosts” Sent within 24 hours of completed competition.
LCMGA Cancelled for: “Date, Coord/Hosts” Sent if an event is cancelled for weather or if less than 20 players
Round Signup Confirmation  Sent when “Playing” “Not Playing” was selected. Sender is from Golf Genius “noreply@golfgenius.com”

Note: Tournament events closes automatically at noon the Saturday before the event. 

The above emails will include button selections for “Playing” or “Not Playing”.   A confirmation email will be sent to you with your status.  The reply comes from noreply@golfgenius.com.

It is highly recommended you add noreply@golfgenius.com to your contact list, so emails do not go to spam folder.

 

Navigating Golf Genius Portal (using your desktop/laptop)

  1. Use a browser and navigate to www.golfgenius.com 
  2. Sign in with GGID ==>   LCMGA20xx (where xx is the YY of the current year)
  3. For ROUND sign up or cancel, follow the screen flow below. You will need your Entry Number.

  Sign in with LCMGA2022 (for year 2022)

  Find your name, enter your Entry Number, select NEXT

  Make your selection. You can filter by ALL/Tue/Thr

 

Navigating Golf Genius Portal (using your smartphone)

  1. Download Golf Genius app from your app store.
  2. Sign in with GGID ==>   LCMGA20xx (where xx is the YY of the current year)
  3. For ROUND sign up or cancel, follow the screen flow below. You will need your Entry Number

Rounds Played (using your smartphone)

  1. Sign in with GGID ==>   LCMGA20xx (where xx is the YY of the current year)
  2. Select Member Portal, then Results, then # of Time Played
